Within Marine, we service the industry with LOGSTOR´’s products for pipe installations at new buildings or replacement of pipe-systems.
The pipe system is built up of pre-fabricated “spools”, which are subsequently mounted on board.
Joints between “spools” are insulated and finished with LOGSTOR double-sealed shrinkable system, which consists of sleeves for insulating straight joints as well as bends, T-pieces and reductions.
Our marine applications are 100% waterproof and designed to follow the movements on board ships, which is why our pre-insulated system is the finest in pipe systems on board for the temperature ranges – 210 ° to + 250 °.
In addition to the above, we carry out repairs on pipe systems, where we weld the plastic casing in the event of breakage, and restore the insulation by foaming.
Cold-Repair-Kit
DMOIS has developed a program that allows repairs to the pipe systems on board while sailing, a so-called “Cold-Repair-Kit”, which after short training enables the crew to make emergency repairs to the pipe systems while in transit.
Furthermore, we store data on the emergency repairs so that the person in charge has a good starting point for final repair at docking.
