All about UVPI Shells
The UVP iso-Shells we have developed is an insulation that is two-part and can be mounted after steel pipes are assembled or it can replace existing insulation. It is assembled with a sealant and sealed in all joints so that it is 100% air / waterproof. Together with the sprayed plastic cover and a 60kg PUR / PIR foam, it is hard and tread stable.
A bit in the style of a pre-insulated pipe. With a PUR / PIR foam with a lambda value around 0.023w / mk, we can reduce the diameter of the insulation by a minimum of 1/3 of what is needed compared to an insulation with wool.
